Lots of activity is scheduled for this week. The ceramic tile is to begin on Tuesday as well as the plumber installing all of the fixtures. Carpet has been ordered and will be installed soon. The cleaning and sealing of the auditorium floor may be done this week as well. Creative Sound and Lighting has been steadily working on the stage lighting and well as hanging the projectors. They have also begun installing the video cameras. Additionally, Jimmy's crew has started installing the trim and doors in certain areas of the building. As always, please keep the building program and financing in your prayers.

The sprinkling system contractor (Brewer) has completed their work of adjusting the sprinker head to the ceiling grid and the ceramic tile is continuing to be installed. The larger tiles (18 inch) are stacked in the foyer and will be installed soon. I talked with our Project Manager, Jimmy Dillon and his men will start installing the interior doors on Monday. Ceramic Tile is being installed in the restrooms and the sprinkling system installer (Brewer) was draining down the system so that they can adjust the sprinkler heads to match the ceiling grid. Brewer will be on site all day on Tuesday.

Sorry that I haven't been keeping everyone up to date on the building progress, but I've been under the weather this week. The parking lot next to the building has been paved and ceiling grid is complete. All of the lights and HVAC in the grid is complete. All of the exterior doors are now in place as well as the glass above the main entrance. The drop ceiling contractor is on site and has completed the grid along the hallway next to the loop and is starting the grid on the opposite hallway. Guess I jumped the gun on some of the contractors last week. This week the glass contractor will be in to finish all of the outside doors along with the main entrance glass and the ceiling contractor will be in to lay in the drop ceiling grid. The outside of the building is getting closer to being finished each day. The stucco above the brick is now done and the soffit is almost complete. The glass contractor will be in early next week to complete the glass front and final glass door.

Creative Audio and Visual started their six week install of the audio/visual gear. The first week saw the addition of the boxes installed on the stage floor, all the wiring to the boxes and conduit between the boxes and the amp room.
