Building Update 12/13/2009

Lots of activity is scheduled for this week. The ceramic tile is to begin on Tuesday as well as the plumber installing all of the fixtures. Carpet has been ordered and will be installed soon. The cleaning and sealing of the auditorium floor may be done this week as well. Stilll waiting on the cabinet maker to make and install the counter tops in the sound booth and then Creative Sound will be in to finished the installation. Hope to have some band practices in the new building before the end of the month. Tony and I need all of the practice we can get on the new digital sound system. Out prayer is that we move into the new building just after the first of the year.

Building Update 11/12/09

Creative Sound and Lighting has been steadily working on the stage lighting and well as hanging the projectors. They have also begun installing the video cameras. Additionally, Jimmy's crew has started installing the trim and doors in certain areas of the building. As always, please keep the building program and financing in your prayers.

Building Update 11/05/2009

The sprinkling system contractor (Brewer) has completed their work of adjusting the sprinker head to the ceiling grid and the ceramic tile is continuing to be installed. The larger tiles (18 inch) are stacked in the foyer and will be installed soon. I talked with our Project Manager, Jimmy Dillon and his men will start installing the interior doors on Monday. Please keep praying for our building program.

Building Update 11/02/2009

Ceramic Tile is being installed in the restrooms and the sprinkling system installer (Brewer) was draining down the system so that they can adjust the sprinkler heads to match the ceiling grid. Brewer will be on site all day on Tuesday.

Building Update 11/01/2009

Sorry that I haven't been keeping everyone up to date on the building progress, but I've been under the weather this week. The parking lot next to the building has been paved and ceiling grid is complete. All of the lights and HVAC in the grid is complete. Just waiting on the sprinkling system contractor to come and adjust all of the sprinkler heads to the level of the grid. We are scheduled to have a painting party today, so everyone should come out and pitch in. Hope to post some pictures later today.

Building Update 10-14-2009

All of the exterior doors are now in place as well as the glass above the main entrance. The drop ceiling contractor is on site and has completed the grid along the hallway next to the loop and is starting the grid on the opposite hallway. Creative Sound and Lighting has completed the drops for the 2 video cameras and is now working on the stage lighting. It's been an exciting week. Hope to upload some new pictures later today.
